So we're starting a blog!!!!!
I have been reading the blogs of some of my closest friends and some from people who are almost total strangers. Some are interesting, beautiful, informative, deep, and they keep me coming back for more. I have decided it is time that we started blogging!!!!! Afterall, I have heard that writing is a form of therapy, and this is much cheaper!!!! sometimes I just need to rant and rave....

Dragonflies are symbols of significant meaning in many cultures. On the ancient Nile they were used to represent life. In some Native American tribes they represent swiftness and activity, and for the Navajo they symbolize pure water. It is said in some Native American beliefs that dragonflies are a symbol of renewal after a time of great hardship. In Japan dragonflies are symbols of courage, strength, and happiness, and they often appear in art and literature, especially haiku. In ancient mythology, Japan was known as Akitsushima, which means "Land of the Dragonflies". In Vietnam the dragonfly is used as a barometer for the weather. In other cultures the dragonfly represents a wild and free spirit.

Good Job Stacey! What a great way to feel somewhat connected. Sometimes I get sad when I think that I don't get to see my christian family as often as I used to. I still think of you daily when I pass your old home when I dropped Valerie off to you! Thank you for everything you ever did for us. My kids were indeed in great care.
I still have your house warming gift that I haul around in my car everywhere I go. We really need to get together!
