We love to feed the birds and we have a lot of fun just being outside. There is something very peaceful about sitting on the bank of a pond and feeding the various creatures that flock to you. I have no idea what some of these water birds are called but I have never seen them before.
Then you have the turtles that just swim over to get a snack.
At a different pond we encountered this funny little guy.
All shimmery and black.
Then we got a little bit brave.....
Until we got bit! There were no tears but this greedy bird did leave a good scratch.
